General Admission Requirements:
Undergraduate Degree: Proof of the completion of a recognized undergraduate degree (and/or in-progress courses). Degrees completed through a College Transfer program must have a minimum of five (5) full year course equivalents completed at the university level to be eligible for admission consideration.
Applicants presenting applied degrees with a GPA of 3.5 or higher will be assessed on an individual basis.
Admission Average: Selection of applicants is based on academic achievement. The admission average will be calculated using the last 10 undergraduate degree level full course equivalents (not including college transfer credits) completed at the time of application. Preference will be given to applicants who present a minimum 70% average or equivalent.
The admission average will be calculated using the grades reported on an official transcript that must be received by the Office of Admissions and Recruitment by the application deadline, December 1, 2011. If credits are in-progress at the time of application, they will be considered in order to fulfill teaching subject requirements, but will not be used to calculate an admission average. Graduate courses, college transfer credits, CEGEP and Secondary School courses are not considered as part of the admission average calculation.
Preference will be given to applicants who present an Honours degree or a degree with 20 full course equivalents.
